WASHING YOUR HANDS IS IMPORTANT, BUT MAY NOT BE ENOUGH. CLEANING YOUR MOBILE DEVICES THAT YOUR HANDS TOUCH ALL DAY LONG IS JUST AS IMPORTANT.

Given the rapidly evolving situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus, we are receiving a high volume of questions about how our mobility products should be cleaned to protect employees and customers best. These inquiries span across the entire portfolio of mobile products and printers that we offer and come from every industry we maintain today.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization are advising people to wash their hands often to avoid touching their faces and to disinfect frequently touched surfaces. Those surfaces include your phone. But there's a right way to clean your phone and a wrong way. Below is information on how to clean your Apple devices and Infinite Peripheral devices.

Apple

Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes, you may gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your device. Don't use bleach. Avoid getting moisture in any openings, and don't submerge your device in any cleaning agents.

Infinite Peripherals*

Similar to Apple, wipe the exterior surfaces of your device. Avoid getting moisture in any openings, and don’t submerge your device in any cleaning agents as this will void the warranty.
